One of the things Lindon and Sam suggested was a trip to Rotto AKA Rottnest Island - where there are absolutely no snakes.
When I mentioned it to Craig and Megan they kindly made all of the arrangements, booked the ferry, and we set off early in the morning to catch the ferry.
People say that it has some of the best beaches in the world. And actually - it does.
We caught the bus around the island stopping off at various places, taking photo's, or stopping for a swim.
The weather was fantastic...and I'd have to say - another perfect day.
Here's some pics from the day - although Craig and Megan took some incredible photo's which were better than some of the proffesinbal pictures that were for sale:
One of the many Quokka's on the island - the only place in the whole world where they live. This is what you'd get if you liquidized a rabbit, wallaby, and a rat - and then brought it all back to life - cute:

On the way back to the ferry we saw a snake - of which there are none on the island according to the official information. I can't remember the name - but it was one of the ones that can kill you. Which was pretty cool...
That night we headed off for food in South Perth and a walk along the river. Which rounded off what was another highlight of the trip.
